The Blind Prince: Chapter 5I woke up late, by the time I opened my eyes the sun had risen and the market was buzzing with activity. I was still in much the same position I'd passed out in, I frowned slightly and sat up painfully. Sleeping on the ground really did no good for my back and I noticed now my knees and elbows were raw from being dragged across the sand. I groaned and stood up, using the fence as support as I looked around. My ear had since stopped bleeding and seemed to have clotted. The Blind Prince: Chapter 4The next morning I woke to the feel of sun warming my face, cracking open an eye I was met with bright sunshine streaming through the window. I yawned leisurely, feeling familiar arms around me. My back was pressed against Hamadi's strong chest, my legs tugged up close as I slept in the foetal position. It was very warm but in the same breath extremely comfortable. I could feel his cool breath against the back of my neck and that alone made me sigh in happiness. His arms were loose and gentle around me, holding me carefully to him. An Apple a Day: Chapter 1Mason awoke to the sound of a quiet knock on his door. He was always a light sleeper, the quietest sound could awake him. He couldn't help but wonder the reason for the knocking, usually people just came in when they wished to see him. He shifted to sit on the edge of the bed, his bare feet touching on the cold, tiled floor. He shuddered and stood up, feeling the cold of the floor rise through him, in contrast with how warm his bed had been before.   “Come in?” He responded to the soft knocking, fingers toying with his nightgown anxiously as he watched the door.
